Premier Nawaz Sharif’s India policy is a path littered with thorns. It needs courage to walk through at one’s peril. But remember he is the elected leader of his people.  India cannot treat him as she treated the Generals who usurped power in Pakistan through military coups.

Middle East nuclear diplomacy

India and Pakistan both lack energy resources to meet domestic requirements. They depend on oil and natural gas imports from neighbouring Gulf countries. Iraq was India’s premier supplier of crude oil until the war broke out in that country and the US put an end to Saddam’s regime. Iranian nuclear deal: implications

Two regional states have viewed the 24 November nuclear deal between Iran and 5 +1 with scepticism. They do so for different reasons. Prime Minister of Israel calls it a big historical mistake.  He doubts Iran’s sincerity.
